What happens when an ancient Easter hymn meets generative music?
Not a replacement for the original.
Not an attempt to imitate the past.
But a new musical experience built from an ancient story — transformed through ambient electronics, orchestral sound, cinematic dynamics and the human imagination.
“The King of Glory Has Risen” is my latest experiment in discovering what generative music can do.
The ancient words point to the resurrection.
The technology gives them a completely different musical landscape.
And somewhere between the two, something rather beautiful happened.
