Written in 1835 by Charlotte Elliott after years of illness and personal struggle, “Just As I Am” became one of the most beloved hymns of surrender ever written. Its power was never in perfection, but in the simple courage to come to Christ exactly as we are — weary, broken, uncertain, yet called by grace.

Reworking this hymn into a modern expression unexpectedly became deeply personal for me. In a season where life has felt heavy and distracting, these words pulled my eyes back toward Christ — the One who gave everything, and who still keeps giving mercy, peace, strength, and presence day after day.

Sometimes the most powerful worship is not found in having it all together, but simply coming again.“Just as I am… I come.”Enjoy.
