I wrote this song after hearing a piece of music that stirred a simple but confronting thought: what kind of man am I becoming?
This is a reflection on reaching toward the man we are meant to be. No excuses here — it is about manhood.
Not the shallow version often argued about, but the real one: responsibility, courage, growth, and the quiet decision to become better than we were yesterday.
Perhaps it is time to stop listening to every voice that tells us what men cannot be — and instead choose to rise.
To fly.
To become the best version of who we truly are.
