This song is based upon the Greek structure of John 20:28 where Thomas declares in the Greek language: Ὁ κύριός μου καὶ ὁ θεός μου’, translated ” The Lord mine and the God mine” echoing Jewish liturgical phraseology.

This is a song written by myself one night in bed recently after reading a couple of important scriptural sections.

This song is a personal reflection on the song capturing images of the ‘cloud’ in the desert leading the people to new land promise. It also examines the cultural shock of such a claim – equivalence with the Divine. I hope you will enjoy this for your own reflection.
